Product Description
Using an Extruder (for Larger - Scale or Professional Production)**: 1. **Prepare the Dough as Above**: Follow the same steps for making the dough and let it rest. 2. **Set Up the Extruder**: - If using a twin - screw extruder, clean and assemble the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Install a die with the desired kurkure - shaped opening. 3. **Feed the Dough into the Extruder**: - Slowly feed the rested dough into the hopper of the extruder. The extruder will push the dough through the die, forming the characteristic kurkure shapes. 4. **Dry or Pre - Treat the Extruded Shapes**: - Some industrial processes may involve drying the extruded kurkure shapes slightly to remove excess moisture before frying. This can be done using a conveyor - type dryer or by air - drying them for a short period. 5. **Fry the Extruded Shapes**: - Heat oil in a large frying vat or a continuous - flow fryer.
